رينوار (Pierre-Auguste Renoir), 1841-1919, was a French artist who was a leading painter of Impressionism. Renoir paintings were notable for vibrant light and saturated colour, most of which were focusing on people in intimate and candid compositions. The female nude was one of his primary subjects. One of the best known Impressionist arts was Renoir's 1876 Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette. The warm sensuality of style made Renoir oil paintings some of the most famous and frequently-reproduced works in the history of art. Le Bal au moulin de la Galette was sold for $78.1 million in 1990.
